I had my first good night at work in a few weeks tonight. I was exhausted, completely due to my own choices, so that part wasn't so fun. What was fun was that about six of the other servers were exhausted for the same reason (midnight Twilight show), so we were all acting a little goofy.
I had a good section, five tables with two booths. I didn't have any campers. I didn't have any "just soup" people tonight (finally!). I didn't have any cheap tippers. Well, okay, maybe one. But in general, I got my tables turned quick and got at least 15%. It was nice to have a good, profitable night.
And now I can get some sleep and that'll be even better. :)
