Took long enough!

Just got the word that Rehab's been fired! w00t! Only took months of her screaming and swearing at everyone, bitching out a manager, throwing ranch bombs and people, and freaking kicking someone. Nice.

It's crazy how long it takes people to get fired isn't it?

Did you read my last comment? Thank frakking god - she is lucky she wasn't ARRESTED.

Congrats and give you co worker my heartfelt sympathies and an ice pack.

PS - it is too bad it took until she physically assaulted someone to be fired.

What - the ranch bombs and months of verbal abuse weren't enough?

If I had been your work wife, I would have filed assault charges. No joke. You don't kick someone in the goddamn knee. You can permanently disable someone with that shit.

I'm so glad she's fired.

I started reading from the oldest post first I cant tell you how angry that last one made me just be reading it. I'm glad she got what she deserves and further more I hope she gets stigmatized with a bad ref and spends a few months out of work to cool off and get her head out of her own hole.

I hope there's some comfort in knowing that there's a special place in hell for people like Rehab. And try to convince WW to press charges; it's time for Rehab to get a taste of her own medicine!

Good, but it should not have taken this long and the staff should not have had to endure that type of working condition. Good riddence I say.

what was rehab's job? cook? if she's got that attitude, I'm surprised anything she made tasted any good at all. angry people don't pay attention to everything going on in the pan. hope she gets her shit together, for her sake. even if she is a bitch now.

That's one thing I've never understood about the restaurants I've worked in. Firing people in restaurants (generally) does not require the sheer amount of ass-covering, documenting, and double-checking that firing in other jobs takes. Occasionally, the staff unionizes, and it gets harder...but firing just doesn't seem like it is difficult to do.

And, yet, out of control, lazy, shiftless employees stay on months...hell, years, before they get canned. Sometimes, they will be the most senior ones in the place because more industrious employees get fed up with working for a GM who rides their asses and ignores what they contribute, yet never seems to note or take action on an out-of-control server's antics.
