Tales of a waitress who escaped the restaurant industry and then discovered a desk job kind of blows - so I put the apron back on. And I deliver pizza because getting paid to drive around listening to music is pretty awesome.
Lol!! I know, right?? Show me the money!! Hopefully 2010 is profitable for all of us in the service industry. God bless.
Now I want to watch Jerry Maguire .... :)
a NOTE? I agree. Show me the money.I thought of you Tuesday when I was out with the girls (party of 7). We got to the restaurant at about 3 and left about 6:30 when the dinner rush was ramping up. It's a nice restaurant called Paparazzi and the buildings are old barns connected together. Beautifully decorated with fireplaces, and ambiance.I never got to see the bill which included 2 bottles and numerous wine by the glass, because the major wine drinker picked up the tab when it became apparent that it was kind of uncool to divide the bill 7 ways when some of us were drinking diet coke and water. We really didn't have much food but we have all been on the service end of things so I know the tips was hefty. I admit that I almost wanted to ask for a separate tab knowing that I was going to have DC and salad, but didn't. Turned out it didn't matter :) and it looks so cheap.Happy New Year and thanks for stopping by my blog.
I'm sure your server was grateful! :)
