Thanks for the note!

I'm glad you wish me a happy new year. I appreciate the sentiment. I'd appreciate it more if it came with even a ten percent tip.

a NOTE? I agree. Show me the money.

I thought of you Tuesday when I was out with the girls (party of 7). We got to the restaurant at about 3 and left about 6:30 when the dinner rush was ramping up. It's a nice restaurant called Paparazzi and the buildings are old barns connected together. Beautifully decorated with fireplaces, and ambiance.
I never got to see the bill which included 2 bottles and numerous wine by the glass, because the major wine drinker picked up the tab when it became apparent that it was kind of uncool to divide the bill 7 ways when some of us were drinking diet coke and water. We really didn't have much food but we have all been on the service end of things so I know the tips was hefty. I admit that I almost wanted to ask for a separate tab knowing that I was going to have DC and salad, but didn't. Turned out it didn't matter :) and it looks so cheap.
Happy New Year and thanks for stopping by my blog.
