Well, so much for that.

As of about twelve hours ago, I don't have a job. After yet another car problem that resulted in my mother having to get up and rescue me from the side of the highway in the middle of the night -- the last one I posted about turned out to be blown head gasket, this was something else, and yet another bout of aggravating, irritating changes that made my job harder, and after getting reprimanded for "yelling" at a customer (I was trying to talk over him because he was hollering and swearing, I said "please stop yelling sir") .... I just decided it isn't worth it. Maybe I should have held on until I found something else, but I was a nervous wreck. My mental health isn't worth it.

No it's not. You're right. Thank goodness you have your Mom there.

Take care and don't worry. Something will come along. In the meantime, just relax and recharge. You need it.

You should never stay some place you're miserable unless you have no choice. If you do have a choice I'm sure something better will turn up down the road.

Thanks everyone. :) And DMT, I know - to even think of putting myself in that woman's company again is insanity. But god do I miss my friends! We'll see what happens. :)

Yelling at a customer ...sure, they are entitled to yell at us. I once got reprimanded for ending a conversation, when a customer called me "stupid bitch" several times . Before I got off the phone I had warned him three times to stop insulting me or I would hang up.
Actually, my supervisor had to take back the reprimand, but nevertheless remembering this situations still make me angry.
