Geometry FAIL

Every night at work, my coworkers demonstrate that they failed geometry. Apparently, it's really difficult to match up shapes. Every damn day, I see where somebody has stacked a kidney-shaped plate on top of a medium round. Or a medium round on top of an oval. Or a plate on top of a pasta bowl, maybe with a gravy tureen on top.

Is it really so fucking difficult to match up shapes? Did these people never watch Sesame Street as children?

I have the same annoyance when my BOH closing sidework is cleaning and organizing the condiment cabinet.

All sauces are supposed to stay in a group, but they're always randomly mixed together, argh!

People are fucking retard (most anyway) and have not regard for a job well done or for their fellow workers. Sorry. I am in a piss poor mood. >:(

No they are probably not idiots but never got the training when they started out to do anything correctly and have some discipline to go along with that. Then what are the supervisors doing while everyone is fucking up? Probably just having a smoke...

Yeah, this surprising me too.
Is it not common sense to stack the same kind of plates together? One; they won't fall over as often and Two; it just makes life easier when you have heaps of plates.

Waiter Extraordinaire has a good point. Their training failed them (even as a child).

I saw it AGAIN today! Someone had put a big round plastic tray on top of a pasta bowl. And then a shallow, round serving dish with a handle on top of an oval plate. The stupidest thing? To do that, this idiot had to reach OVER a pile of like plates!

OMG, I did a post on that, too!!! rotfl!

(I'm kind of late to comment, I know. I just don't want to do the dishes and thought I'd do some catching up on the blogs I've neglected.)

- - just stumbled by another time to give you the link. But you can't read German, right? What a pity! Anyway:

LOL I did a couple years of German in school, so I know a lot of the words, but not quite enough to really read it. :) I get the gist of "DAS KLEINE GEHĂ–RT IN DAS GROSSE!!!" though!

LOL... Maybe we can just send them back to kindergarten?
