We've had an awesome week so far at the restaurant. In four shifts (two close, one stay, one first cut), I've made a little over $400--after tipping the bartender and eating! Holy shit! That means that after buying groceries, putting gas in my car, and covering my checking account's overdraft, I have a little over half of my rent money that's due Tuesday. I have two volumes and two closes before my rent check will hit my bank Wednesday, so I might actually make my rent money!
Of course, it'd be just my luck to have the next four days be deader than dead and for me to make $100 between those four shifts.
